Bellevue College invites prospective students of all ages and backgrounds, parents, and community members to Discovery Day on Saturday, April 20. Discovery Day serves as an introduction to the college’s academic offerings. With 15 bachelor’s degrees, 11 academic/transfer associate degrees, 22 professional/technical degrees, and 66 certifications, attendees will witness firsthand how the college can tailor an educational program that will resonate with every student’s ambition.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Student Success Center (U-Building), attendees can expect:
Guided Tours: Discover the college’s 100-acre campus, which boasts breathtaking views of the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. In addition to campus tours, the college will offer student housing and Neurodiversity Center tours beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Information Sessions: Attend one of the college’s many information sessions happening at Discovery Day. Sessions run throughout the entire day, starting at 10 a.m. Here are just a few of what the college plans to offer:
- How to enroll in classes (information in both English and Spanish)
- Dual credit and Running Start options
- How to pay for college
- Puente program
- STEM programs
- Occupational and life skills
- Neurodiversity Navigators
Interactions with Departments: Engage directly with representatives from almost 50 different academic sectors, support services, and student engagement units, all ready to assist in navigating the college’s expansive academic landscape.
High school students eyeing a head start in college will have an opportunity to learn about dual credit and Running Start. This innovative approach allows simultaneous accumulation of college and high school credits, paving the way for an enriched academic trajectory.
Bellevue College’s location to major industry players across sectors like information technology, health care, aerospace, and more ensures students are always at the nexus of opportunity.
