July 2023
Bellevue College President David May announced the search for a Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs will commence.
EQU Advisors was selected as the executive search firm to assist Bellevue College in the search process.
September 2023
The members of the Provost Search Screening Committee and the timeline for the search were announced.
October 2023
EQU Advisors and the Provost Search Screening Committee facilitated a written survey and listening session open forums to solicit input from the Bellevue College community on the provost search.
The search went live. The Search Profile was posted on the Bellevue College and EQU Advisors websites. Local, state-wide, and national recruitment and national advertising began.

February 2024
The Provost Search Screening Committee conducted confidential virtual interviews with semi-finalists. Committee deliberated and provided a recommendation of finalists to the president.
Finalists were invited for on-campus interviews with the Bellevue College community. After finalist interviews, stakeholder feedback was collected and reviewed by the president.
March 2024
President David May selected Dr. Jess Clark as the next Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs of Bellevue College.
May 2024
