The Office of Sustainability now has three open positions to hire for the 2014-2015 school year, a Communications Coordinator, a Resource Accounting Coordinator and a Transportation Coordinator.
Communications Coordinator Job Summary:
- Research, write, create content: articles, videos and images for website, newsletter, posters, hand-outs;
- Web-publishing: Manage Sustainability at Bellevue College’s WordPress website;
- Sustainability Newsletter: Manage monthly newsletter using Mailchimp;
- Events: Represent Sustainability at Bellevue College at events and in classrooms;
- Social Media: Manage Facebook, Twitter, and other social media accounts for the Office of Sustainability;
- Attend weekly team meetings with staff members. Meet once per week with supervisor

Resource Accounting Coordinator Job Summary:
- Enter utility bills into database;
- Analyze data and create charts and reports from utility software and Excel;
- Provide administrative and accounting support for Student Environmental Sustainability Fund;
- Data gathering and reporting on STARS (Sustainability Tracking and Rating System);
- Greenhouse gas emission data gathering and entry;
- Write and edit reports regarding the College’s resource consumption.

Transportation Coordinator Job Summary:
- Coordinate transportation alternatives programming including BC RideMatch, bussing, and biking;
- Research and write about current trends impacting the commutes of Bellevue College community;
- Represent Sustainability at Bellevue College at events and in classrooms;
- Provide customer services to students, staff, and faculty interested in transportation programs;
- Create content for online publication: articles, videos and images for website, newsletter, posters, hand-outs;
- Coordinate partnerships with transportation organizations associated with Bellevue College;
- Attend weekly team meetings with staff members. Meet once per week with supervisor.
