Amber is the Director for the Office of Sustainability. She leads programs and projects that engage the college and the community at large in sustainability and climate justice. She works to reduce the college’s impact in areas such as greenhouse gas emissions, waste, energy, and transportation, and conserve natural resources such as water. In addition, she collaborates with faculty to incorporate sustainability into the curriculum. Amber loves connecting with students, staff, and faculty on unique sustainability ideas to drive the sustainability mission forward and address the immediate need for climate action.
Amber brings experience in higher education, electronics and food manufacturing, and provincial and municipal government. In her free time, you can find Amber watching competition cooking shows, scuba diving, and visiting local farmers markets.
