What is the plan?

This year, AASHE is hosting their annual sustainable campus conference in Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center from October 9th to October 12th, 2011. Supported by Bellevue College’s Associated Student Government (ASG) and funded by the Student Environmental Sustainability Fund Committee (SESF), we are selecting one student to attend the AASHE conference.

Benefits

Selected student will not only attend the conference to represent Bellevue College and its sustainability initiatives, but to also gain valuable experience through higher education, professional networking, involvement with schools all over the world, personal and spiritual growth, and inspiration. 

Requirements

· Must be a Bellevue College student enrolled in class credits for fall 2011.

· Have some background in environmental advocacy and sustainability.

· Must have instructor’s approval to miss three days of school.

· Incomplete application will not be accepted.

· Application must be filled out and turned in by Thursday, September 15th. 2011 at 5:00PM to the front desk of Student Programs in C212. Applicants will be notified on Friday, September 16, 2011.
