DIY Beeswax Wraps Workshop

Beeswax wraps are a great sustainable food storage option! Learn to make your own with us on Thursday, November 18th.

Supplies will be mailed to you including organic cotton squares and beeswax drops.

Sign up your your workshop kit here. First come, first served and open to students, staff, and faculty. Sign ups close on November 8th at 5 pm.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the workshop even without the mailed kit! We will be joined virtually by Anja Eckert from the Youtube Channel “Our Gabled Home” https://www.youtube.com/c/OurGabledHome

Plogging with the Wellness Center

Community “Plog” November 5th 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm (must pre-register)

Plogging is a combination of jogging with picking up litter (merging the Swedish verbs plocka upp (pick up) and jogga (jog). We will get together for a beautiful day outside for a 5k group plog on the SE Middle Fork Trail.

Climate Rally in Seattle

Climate Rally Friday November 12th 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Join activists downtown Seattle in a rally for the climate November 12th.

“Our generation is done with the climate crisis and we’re done with racial injustice – we’re done with heatwaves and wildfires. We’re riled up because we know there’s no time to waste – this is an emergency. So, on November 12th, we’re taking to the streets to demand that our elected leaders take bold, intersectional climate action now.”
