Are you passionate about environmental issues? Are you concerned about how we’re responding to global warming and climate disruption? Are you interested in environmental issues but uncertain about how to weigh in or get involved in a polarized political environment? This class will cover the basics of environmental politics from the local to the global scale, and examine the relationship between political and environmental systems. You’ll learn what people are doing right now to solve environmental crises and explore the most urgent policy solutions to mitigate the climate crisis and eliminate environmental racism.
