Transportation Management – Fall Indicators

The Fall 2011 Bellevue College Student Transportation Survey and parking counts show that the College has made some initial progress in reducing students driving alone to campus in the first quarter of implementation the transportation management plan.

The Bellevue College transportation management plan was implemented to promote and sustain an accessible campus environment. It includes parking fees based on usage, the bus pass program, carpool promotion, bicycle facilities and outreach on alternatives to driving alone.

The Student Transportation Survey suggests a 5% reduction in student driving alone to campus

Students report parking on campus is less difficult compared to last fall.

Bus passes are rising in popularity.
