- IMPORTANT: Student appeals for tuition refunds are considered only for the special circumstances listed below, where the circumstance is of such a severity or duration that completion of the quarter is not possible. Bellevue College Policy 2450 RCW 28B.15.605
- Information about a withdraw without a refund is found on the enrollment services page.
- Students whose tuition and fees are paid by financial aid may not be eligible for a refund even if the appeal is approved. Refunds are paid back to the original source of payment such as a credit card, scholarship, third-party payer, or Financial Aid. For more information, please contact the Financial Aid office.

| 4. Institutional Error | Student advised incorrectly by a representative of Bellevue College | Submit a written statement from a Bellevue College supervisor explaining how the supervisor’s work unit was in error. |
Instructions:
- Fill out the Tuition Refund Appeal Form
- Include a statement explaining how you meet the criteria for a tuition refund
- Attach copies of required documentation for one of the 4 circumstances listed
If the appeal is due to student illness, also
- Print and sign the “Student’s Consent to Release Medical Information” section at the bottom of the Health Provider Verification Form
- Submit the form to the appropriate health care professional and turn in the completed form along with your appeal.
- Submit the signed form via the online form, or through the mail or hand-deliver and any supplemental documentation to:
