Active Shooter Training Options

Have you prepared yourself mentally and emotionally for how you will respond if face with an attack shooter/violent intruder situation? Even though it is our hope that a situation like this does not occur on Bellevue College’s campus, it is vital to prepare ourselves for the possible occurrence. With this in mind, we are providing opportunities to equip each of you with the tools to prepare yourself for how you will respond in the likelihood of this emergency occurring at Bellevue College.  If this type of emergency does occur, you will have a better understanding of what action(s) you need to take.

We all play a critical role and the choices you make will have lasting ramifications on you and those around you. This course focuses on the actions you can take to help reduce the likelihood of an active shooter incident in your workplace. While we can’t prevent these incidents 100% of the time, we can reduce the likelihood of an incident and prevent some incidents from occurring, thereby saving lives. During this course, we will share tools and perspectives you may use to reduce the likelihood of an active shooter incident.
