I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I hold master’s degrees in history and psychology and recently completed my Ph.D. in clinical psychology. I have been a classroom teacher for over 20 years and am a licensed therapist in the state of Washington. I have worked in various clinical settings, including the VA, community mental health, neuropsychological and personality testing, and in private practice. My research focuses on monozygotic twins, hermeneutics, intersubjectivity, narrative psychology, psychological assessment, mindfulness practice and dharma, and pedagogy. My favorite courses to teach are Intro to Psych and Psych 220. I currently serve as the faculty advisor of the Psych Club. I thoroughly enjoy my work at BC and am grateful for the insight and diversity of our students, faculty, and staff.
