Marie has a Master’s degree in Adult Education with a concentration in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. She brings over 18 years of experience working in Higher Education and Workforce Training & Education Programs. Marie was an Instructor/Supported Employment Specialist at Highline Community College for 7 years and a Project Manager at the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County for 11 years. She believes in the ability of each person to achieve self-sufficiency. Marie designs learning experiences to meet the needs of students through courses which address work readiness, career advancement, lifelong learning, and personal enrichment opportunities. Marie has also served as a Board Member for the King County Department of Developmental Disabilities and is an active volunteer in the Northshore School District.
