The Creative Works of Will

The last thing I remember was playing a game of Magic the Gathering with my friends Nate and Kyle at school. I did not know exactly where I was either, but a destroyed sign on the fence next to the building suggests that I’m in California. I could hear marching soldiers in the distance which gave me shivers down my spine. The sky was cloudy, and the smell of smoke cluttered the air.

OLS Student sits in front of computer with his website over. You’ve just read an excerpt from The Takeover, a story created from a dream. Welcome to an exciting adventure written by 3rd year OLS Student Will who has been writing stories since his freshman year of high school. “Most of my books are based off other stories, but some are my own ideas. I got interested in writing because I’ve read many books, seen a lot of movies, and played a lot of video games, so I thought, ‘What if this happened instead?’ I wanted to create something that nobody ever had before.”

Although right now he only writes for fun, he thinks he may be able to get published in the future. Right now he’s focusing on finishing his degree and hopes to achieve a career writing stories and scripts for a video game company. OLS has helped him improve his writing by teaching him better grammar and proper sentence structure.

Will currently has three books available to read on his website: Ghost Chronicles, Moonlight Tales, and The Takeover. In total he’s written 7 books, and he’s currently working on a new book that takes place during a zombie apocalypse, the idea of which came to him while playing Call of Duty, Zombie Mode. “During World War II, a German scientist created an element to make super soldiers, but it turned people into zombies. I put myself in that situation; I’m one of the people fighting the zombies.”

He has a lot more story ideas, so be sure to check back for new additions to his site.
