Story by: Anastasia, OLS Student
OLS Student Anastasia joined Bellevue College students and staff as a volunteer to arrive on campus early morning on Friday, May 27 to help put up flags around campus for Memorial Day in honor of those who sacrificed their lives during military service.
The Bellevue College Veterans Association provided breakfast for those who volunteered. Students and staff walked around campus and placed flags by the U-building, the campus entrance, Landerholm circle and the military statue near the library.

Occupational & Life Skills (OLS) Bellevue College is an associate degree program for adults with learning disabilities.
In our uniquely supportive skills-based program, students apply academic knowledge through community activities, service learning and social experiences. Students identify a career pathway, gain marketable, workplace-ready competencies, develop better interpersonal skills and complete an internship in alignment with their career goals.
We offer online and on-campus program options so students can learn in the environment of their choice.
