The Occupational & Life Skill Bellevue College (OLSBC) Intro to Computers students have been busy this quarter discussing life before the Internet. To help them dive deeper into this topic, they completed a research project and presented their findings to the class.

Collaborating as a group, students worked as a team to choose an article with pictures that demonstrated life before the internet. This helped them understand the benefits and drawbacks of the Internet.
After each team presented, the class had the opportunity to add anything they thought was missing, with students actively contributing to the discussion. This activity will help students learn how to use various sources to research a specific topic, in addition to developing an understanding of how different life was before the Internet.
