Students in the Occupational & Life Skills Bellevue College (OLSBC) Office Procedures and Customer Service course participate in an Office Lab (8 hours) to demonstrate the course outcomes related to specific office procedures.
Students had a variety of opportunities to practice and demonstrate basic office administration support skills and how to manage the Outlook Environment proficiently. In addition, students had hands-on practice demonstrating adequate customer service skills when approaching a possible customer and the ability to professionally answer questions of a customer.
A sample of activities included:
- Providing information and answering questions from future BC students at the BC Discovery Days & College Bound
- Supporting basic office administration to the BC Office of Sustainability & OLSBC office;
- Photocopying and Zine prep
- OLSBC 4th year presentation night prep.






About the Office Procedures and Customer Service Course
Office Procedures and Customer Service is taken in the third year of the OLSBC program. Students in this course learn basic office administration support skills, as well as customer service skills focusing on interacting with others and handling conflict.
