As you may recall from our announcement in June, Marci Muhlestein stepped down from her role as the Associate Dean for the OLS Bellevue College program. While Bellevue College is actively working on finding a permanent replacement for the position, we are pleased to introduce you to our Interim Associate Dean, Jennifer Sohonie.
Jennifer currently serves as the Director of Community Services overseeing the Bellevue College World Languages, Arts & Design, TELOS, Personal Enrichment, and Teen programs. Prior to starting with Bellevue College, she was the Campus Director for Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, where she worked to improve student outcomes through the classroom experience. She brings with her a diverse background and extensive experience teaching and working with students with learning disabilities.
“Through my tenure as a Faculty member on up, I understand that each of you comes with a distinctive skill-set and a unique set of personal goals that you have set out to achieve. My commitment is to the students and to the OLS program to ensure continuity as we move forward in the process of finding the best person to lead the OLS program.”
