Bellevue College’s Marketing and Communications team, part of Institutional Advancement, was recently recognized by the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) for excellence in design and communication. NCMPR’s annual Medallion Awards competition is exclusive to marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.
Bellevue College earned five awards: three silver medals, and two bronze medals: Print Advertisement – Empowerment through Education (Silver), which ran in the USA Today special Diversity issue; Social Media – Using Smartsheet to Increase Posts, Audience & Engagement (Silver); two Excellence in Writing awards appeared in the spring edition of the college’s Exceptional magazine: From the Hotel Rwanda to the United Nations (Silver) and Millennial in Charge (Bronze); and Ecard – Holiday Greeting (Bronze).
The college was up against strong competition from community and technical colleges throughout District 7, which consists of Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and the Yukon Territory. Medallion Awards are judged by marketing and public relations professionals from community and technical colleges around the nation.
