Annual Review of the Bellevue College Strategic Plan
Dec 24, 2015The Strategic Planning Steering Committee (SPSC) has completed an Annual Review of the BC Strategic Plan for Academic Year 2014-2015.
The plan is available on the Future Vision webpage. The purpose of the review is to analyze the college’s progress in advancing the strategic plan and its alignment with other campus plans and the President’s Priorities. This college-wide reflection on planning is another important step to coordinate and communicate our planning efforts. The Annual Review includes an executive summary, highlights from the fall 2015 environmental scan, and a list of initiatives and accomplishments organized by the six goals of the strategic plan. It reveals many of the inspiring and creative efforts undertaken to serve our students.

The SPSC would like to make annual reflection and review an element in maintaining our strategic plan, using it as a basis for assessment and revision. You can submit AY 2015-2016 items related to the strategic plan at any time to Tracy Biga MacLean. The SPSC will send out a request for information in the spring. You can also send in items from AY 2014-2015 that might have been inadvertently missed, so that they can be incorporated
During the past two years, dozens of BC faculty, students, and staff have contributed to the development and writing of our college-wide planning documents, now including the Annual Review. Many more have worked on the initiatives the review describes. My appreciation and congratulations go out to all of you for those efforts. Together we will make these plans “real,” not just dust collectors up on a shelf or buried deep within our electronic archives!
