It’s been hard to keep up with Dr. Jerry Weber, BC’s new president, who officially started his role Aug. 1. Here are just a few of the people he’s been meeting with.
In August, Dr. Weber joined faculty, staff and students to catch the lunar eclipse from the top floor of BC’s parking garage.

As part of the Achieve the Dream initiative at Bellevue College, Dr. Weber participated in a student success mapping exercise with faculty and staff.
Dr. Weber signed a pledge card as part of student government’s partnership with the NO MORE campaign to raise awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault issues.

In October, Dr. Weber participated in a Climate Change Town Hall meeting with Gov. Jay Inslee that filled the 300-seat Carlson Theatre.
The BOOM Experience was held again at Bellevue College, and Dr. Weber helped welcome 300 students from the Bellevue School District.
In December, Dr. Weber toured a Microsoft campus along with Russell Beard, vice president of Information Technology Services and Srividya Ramachandran, director of campus operations.
