Join the Leadership Institute on a day trip to the North Cascades National Park! This event is open to ALL BC students and staff and is sponsored by the Student Environmental Sustainability Fee (SESF).
Enjoy a guided boat tour of Diablo Lake and learn about the Cascade area’s natural history, surrounding wildlife habitat, indigenous people, early explorers and settlers and the challenges of building the three Skagit River Hydroelectric Project dams. The dams and powerhouses provide clean, low-cost, renewable power to the residents of Seattle.
Transportation and snacks will be provided! You are responsible for bringing your own lunch. This experience is first come, first served for selection. Space is open until filled.
