Hi everyone! My name is Jéssel, and I am from Colombia. My journey in the U.S. started as an Au Pair, which gave me the opportunity to experience a new culture and learn about myself. After that, I decided to stay and further my education. As an agricultural engineer, I wanted to enhance my skills with something more versatile and applicable in various industries, which led me to pursue Business Analysis and Technology at Bellevue College.
One of my favorite things about being here is the chance to connect with people from all over the world. Being here allow me to be Lead Peer Educator, helping me to grow my network, support other students, and build lasting relationships.
My journey as an International Student at BC has pushed me out of my comfort zone and into endless possibilities. I have strengthened my courage, embraced challenges, and look forward to continuing to thrive in new environments.
