HCML Graduation Information

Congratulations! You're almost there!

Congratulations on nearing your completion of the program. We have put this page together in order to assist you with all the steps required to prepare for graduation. Please read through the page carefully and complete each step. This last step in your academic journey officially places your degree or certificate on your transcript. If you do not complete these steps, your degree will not be posted and you will not be listed as graduated! Don’t miss out on receiving the diploma you worked hard to earn!

Step 1. Review the Graduation Deadlines

We encourage you to submit your graduation application when you register for your last quarter of classes. Please submit by the deadline listed. Meeting the deadline ensures that your application is reviewed.

Step 2. Review Your Degree Progress

You can review your Degree Progress through ctcLink. Please note, The Degree Progress and What-If Reports in ctcLink are still being built and are not complete. They are not accurate yet and you will probably see some errors. These errors will not affect your graduation because the Graduation and Evaluations Office performs a manual review of all your degree requirements. You can refer to the old Degree Audit, however it will not be updated with any new courses past Fall 2022. Please schedule an appointment with a Program Manager to double check and review your graduation requirements

If you have transfer credit, submit your official transcripts and a transfer credit request at least three months before the application deadline. Evaluations will make an exception if you are taking your last classes at a different college.

It is critical that you contact us with any errors you see right away so that we can address any concerns early on! ​

Step 3. Complete the Graduation Application

Once completed, please save your confirmation email. You will need to upload this in the information  update! The graduation application fee will be manually added to your ctcLink account within 3-5 business days of submission. Pay the application fee online or in person at Student Financial Services. 

Step 4. Review Commencement Information 

This page is updated with information regarding commencement as it gets closer to the date! Be sure to check it often for information regarding your cap and gown, commencement times and locations, and more important information!​​

Step 5. Complete the Quick Contact Information Update below

This is the final step! In order for us to track your application and assist with any issues, please complete the form below as well as update your contact information through your ctcLink. Additionally, we may need to contact you after you graduate so it is crucial to provide a current email address that is not your BC email address. Ensuring we have up to date personal contact information will help us make sure you have pertinent information about the program, alumni events and the occasional flyer for special courses that you may be interested in taking. Please upload your graduation application confirmation email with your information update.​​​
