Zhenzhen has been an English faculty in Bellevue College since 2019. She has an MA degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a Ph.D. in Language and Rhetoric, specializing in Composition Studies. One of the things that she enjoys about being a teacher is the built-in responsibility (and privilege) of constant learning, including new knowledge in the field, different perspectives, and evolving teaching technologies.
Zhenzhen has been involved in the Faculty Commons as a workshop participant, workshop facilitator, and council member during her time at BC; she co-created and has co-facilitated the Antiracist Teaching and Assessment Workshop with her colleague Jose Aparicio three times. She is excited to take on the new role as the Tenure Mentoring Program Lead in the Faculty Commons
