Sara Sanders Gardner has been selected to lead a two-day training session at the Association on Higher Education and Disability’s (AHEAD) 2024 national Management Institute, which is scheduled to meet in February 2024 in San Diego. AHEAD is one of the country’s leading membership associations for higher education professionals working to create equity, access, and inclusion for individuals with disabilities. Sara’s session is entitled “Autism Cultural Responsiveness: Access, Inclusion, and Growth.” Joining Sara will be her dog, Max.
Sara is also serving as a technical editor for a new publication, Neurodiversity for Dummies. Part of the For Dummies series, this book is designed to help individuals and families experiencing neurodiversity.
