Which courses can be applied towards the “Approved . . . Elective”?
The following pairs can be taken to fulfill the 10 credit Approved Elective section of the Software Development track. Note that certain courses require prerequisites that may not be included in the Information Systems degree. See course descriptions for information about prerequisites.

Note: Preparation for Information Systems & Technology BAS, Application Development concentration requires PROG 209. Students preparing to pursue this degree should take the PROG 209 and PROG 272 elective pair for their program electives.

What programming and scripting languages will be taught?
HTML, CSS, Javascript, and C#

Preparation for BAS in Information Systems & Technology

Application Development Concentration

Students should take PROG 209 and PROG 272 elective pair since PROG 209 is a required BAS program prerequisite.

Intermediate Applications Developer Certificate

Which courses can be applied towards the “Approved Elective”?
Any 200 level programming class including CS 210.

Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst Certificate

Additional BI Analyst Certificate Options (choose 10 credits):
ISIT 337, ISIT 338, MKTG 262, ISIT 332, ISIT 312, ISIT 300.
