Bellevue College's women's basketball team scored 23 points in the fourth quarter as the Bulldogs overcame a 31-26 halftime deficit to defeat Skagit Valley 63-58 Wednesday night at Courter Family Athletic Pavilion. Clarkston Bantam Jalena Henry signs with Bellevue College

Clarkston basketball player, Jalena Henry, has signed to play ball at the next level. Henry signed with Bellevue College on the west side of the state. The 5-11 Bantam post was a force in her senior season. She averaged a team high six rebounds per game and scored a little over seven points per contest.


Twin Falls basketball player signs with BC

McKayla Rodriguez signs with BC

A Twin Falls senior is headed up to Washington state to continue her basketball career. McKayla Rodriguez signed with Bellevue College over the weekend. Rodriguez earned Great Basin Ten all-conference honorable mention honors this season, after helping the Bruins finish with a 15-7 record.



NWAC Basketball Tournament has been Canceled – Updated March 12

NWAC Basketball Tournament has been Canceled

With much disappointment, in conjunction with both the Linn Benton Community College and Clackamas Community College administrative teams, it has been decided to cancel the NWAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament. The Bellevue women’s team had been scheduled to play Lane on Thursday.

Learning how to close out close games helped propel the Bellevue College women’s basketball team back to the post-season. The Bulldogs, who tied for second in the North Region, will face Lane in the Sweet 16 of the NWAC women’s basketball championships on Thursday.
