Seattle Mariners prospect Austin Shenton never could have predicted his college baseball three-year, cross-country path to pro ball. The former BC standout traveled nearly 7,000 miles to play his first game in the Mariners’ organization 60 miles from where he grew up in Bellingham.
Austin Shenton predicted it in first grade. He even wrote it down with pencil and paper. At 5 years old, he knew that one day he would be a Seattle Mariner.
Pinorini, a senior catcher for Gonzaga who played two seasons at Bellevue College before transferring, hit .270/.367/.379 with a homer and 34 RBI this season.

Runaway winners were: Garrett Gants (Silver Bat), Nick Hovland (Gold Glove), Nick Miller (Most Valuable Pitcher), and Nate Butcher (Most Improved).
