
Bellevue College softball continued their winning ways with a convincing sweep over host Edmonds by a pair of 8-3 scores.
Rachel Delamare had three hits in game one while Ciera Lockwood went the distance in the circle scattering six hits. Tessani Dixon and Cierra Barkis added two hits apiece.
In game two, Sylvester again pitched stellar and handed the ball off to Payton Gibbs, who finished the game going 2 1/3 innings without giving up a run or a hit. The Bulldogs blew it open in the third inning with 7 runs. The ‘dogs strung together an amazing 8 consecutive hits from leadoff batter Barkis to Brianna Attwood.
Bellevue is now 11-1 and 30-5 overall. Their next games are against second place Douglas on May 3. The doubleheader at Robinswood Park begins at 1:30 p.m.
