Bellevue College Men’s Golf Takes Spring Opener

Bellevue College men’s golf kicked off the spring portion of their season with a huge win against several four year universities by taking the South Puget Sound Invitational at Tumwater Valley Golf Course. The Bulldogs shot +15 for the two days going nine over on Sat. Apr. 12 then improving to six over on Sun. Apr. 13. Bellevue edged runner up Whitworth University by three strokes. Freshman Isaac Elaimy took home medalist honors with rounds of 69-70 for a five-under total. Elaimy started and ended his round with birdies for the title. Milo Stover finished tied for seventh at five over (73-76). Sophomore Matthew Davidson and Kai Lambro finished tied for tenth at eight over par. Davidson fired a 72 on the final day.

The tourney featured Whitworth, Pacific Lutheran, and University of Puget Sound; all four year universities, in addition to Olympic College and South Puget Sound Community College.
