Bellevue College men’s basketball scored a huge come-from-behind thriller over host Everett, winning 78-76 at the Walt Price Center in Everett.
Bellevue battled back from a 36-28 halftime deficit to outscore the Trojans 50-40 in the second half. Down by 10 with 12:22 to go, the ‘dogs rallied behind a pair of three pointers by Sawyer Cottrell, who brought BC to within four at 58-54 then drained a second consecutive three ball on the next possession to put the Bulldogs right back in it at 58-57. Darek Usitalo then vaulted Bellevue into the lead with a layup with 7:46 remaining in the game.
