Oteta Kitiona scored early and often to lead Bellevue College women’s soccer to an easy 4-0 win over the host Whatcom Orcas. Kitiona scored just five minutes into the game then added consecutive goals within three minutes of each other in the second half off assists by Galiala Abeye and Macie Masterson respectively. Haley Swanson gave BC a 2-0 lead heading into halftime with an unassisted goal at the 31:10 mark.
Paige Boyce recorded the shutout in the box for the ‘dogs as Bellevue outshot the Orcas 20-1. Boyce had little challenge as the Orcas failed to record a single shot on goal.
Bellevue is now 2-0 in league and 3-1 overall. They travel to Skagit Valley this Sat. Sept. 21 for a noon kickoff.
