Bellevue College women’s golf continued their upward progress with a runner-up finish at the NWAC League Match held at Oakbrook GC this past weekend. The Bulldogs ended the two-day tourney at +95 behind champion North Idaho.
Mayah Park was leading the entire field after day one after firing an 80. The sophomore shot 85 on the second round and ended up finishing in fourth place overall out of 33 golfers in the individual standings.
Kelly Oo shot rounds of 88-86 and finished tied for 11th overall. Teammates Kate Sabarillo and Loan Dang tied for 19th overall. Dang’s second round of 86 was her best ever round carded in a tourney.
Bellevue will have three weeks to prepare for the NWAC Championships, held at Apple Tree GC in Yakima on May 19-20.
