After dropping their first two games, Bellevue College men’s basketball defeated Lane in their third game of the Wenatchee Valley Crossover 74-68.
Logan Stempniak tossed in 15 of his game-high 23 points in the second half and led BC with 11 rebounds as well in only 14 minutes of playing time. The University of Alaska-Fairbanks transfer was also eight-for-nine from the free throw line as the ‘dogs cashed in on 73% of their 22 attempts from the line as a team.
Jeremiah Hursrud and Marcus Cole each added 11 points for Bellevue.
The comeback win snaps a two-game losing streak as the Bulldogs take the holidays off before a Saturday Dec. 30 game vs. Lower Columbia. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
