Bulldogs Top Wenatchee Valley

Bishop Tosi

Bellevue College men’s basketball defeated visiting Wenatchee Valley 87-69 last night in the opening round of the NWAC Crossover held at Courter Family Athletic Pavilion. Bellevue played two solid halves leading 41-32 after the first before putting up 46 points in the second as they outscored Wenatchee Valley by nine points in both halves.

Bishop Tosi was on fire draining 12-of-15 from the field and had a team-high seven rebounds while freshman Owen Moriarty had 30. The two picked up the slack needed as the ‘dogs played without the services of freshman scoring phenom Prophet Johnson. Moriarty made eight-of-11 from three-point range for the ‘dogs.

Bellevue is now riding a four-game win streak and plays Portland today at 4:00 p.m.
