Volleyball Tops Everett

Bellevue College volleyball played a clean match sweeping visiting Everett 3-0 by scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-17. The sweep was the second time the Bulldogs have taken care of the Trojans in three, with the first contest being a non-leaguer at the Edmonds Pre-Season Tournament.

Everett’s offense was stymied with a -.020 percentage while Bellevue had it’s most efficient night in weeks committing only 10 total errors.

Bellevue came out swinging at a .400 clip in set one in the blowout opener. BC raced out to a 5-0 lead thanks to Kate Hansen’s two service aces. The tone was set for the rest of the night as Hansen had five total aces and led the ‘dogs with 13 digs in back row. Marin Mackey had nine kills hitting at a .571 clip to lead the offense.

Bellevue is now 4-1 and remains on top tied for first with Skagit Valley and is 18-6 overall.
