Bellevue College men’s golf opened up the 2022-23 campaign finishing seventh at the Saint Martin’s University Bishop Invitational, held September 24-25 at The Home Course. The Bulldogs, competing against a slew of NCAA division II teams, competed well against their four-year opponents, finishing higher than host Saint Martin’s in the competitive season opener.
Dalton Dean closed with a 71 after an opening round 72 to finish tied for 10th overall out of the 75 golfers in the field. Kyle Yang was the low man for BC on Saturday, shooting 70 after an opening round of 75. Tyler Spalti (72-76), Morgan Taylor (80-75) and Ryan Knox (82-76) rounded out the Bulldogs scoring.
Bellevue gets a day off before competing again this Monday-Tuesday at the Skagit Valley League Match held at Avalon GC in Burlington.
