
Bellevue College women’s golf won the 2022 NWAC Championships today, winning by 12 strokes over Spokane at Apple Tree GC in Yakima. The Bulldogs held a narrow four-stroke lead after yesterday’s opening round before distancing themselves from the pack with a 238 team score on round two. Bellevue finished 1-2 in the individual standings as Sarah Lawrence took home medalist honors with rounds of 76-74. Tori Berger took second overall with rounds of 80-80 while Tia Wolcott finished tied for sixth overall with rounds of 84-84.
The Bulldogs won all but one league match and won the regular season title before adding the NWAC title today; their fourth overall in the history of the program, and first since 2015.
