Bellevue College women’s golf won the Skagit Invitational by 18 strokes over host Skagit Valley College today at Avalon Golf Club in Burlington. On a course that yielded high scores for most all of the entire field, the Bulldogs shot 242 on day one and 262 on day two to hold onto the victory.
Bellevue had three players place in the top four as Sarah Lawrence (79-82), Tori Berger (81-87), and Hunter Humbert (82-93) finished first, second, and fourth respectively.
Bellevue has now won all five of their events this spring and have six titles over all this year.
The Bulldogs will tee it off next Tuesday May 11 at Moses Pointe GC in the East Region Invite hosted by Spokane.
