Bellevue College softball scored in the double digits in both games of a doubleheader at Olympic this weekend, sweeping the Rangers by scores of 15-5 and 14-1.
In the opener, the Bulldogs jumped ahead 1-0 in the first and then extended their lead to 8-1 after three innings to take control. In the first, Hannah Hvitved doubled to score Elise Allen before the big inning in the third when Kelci Studioso had a 2-RBI double that was followed up by another 2-RBI double by Allen. Studioso finished 3-for-4 with 5 RBI while Hvitved was also 3-for-4.
In the nightcap, BC put up an early 4-0 lead in the first as Hvitved again carried the hot bat going 3-for-4 while Kaci Imus went 3-for-4, scored 3 runs, and and 4 RBI. Lizzy Olson had 3 RBI and belted a homer along with Imus.
Bellevue is now 4-2 and will travel to Edmonds this Wednesday May 5 for a 4:00 doubleheader.
