In one of the most thrilling matches in years between two rivals, host Edmonds took down Bellevue with the fifth and final set coming down to the last point last night at Edmonds. The Tritons took the early lead taking sets one and two by scores of 25-22 and 25-19. Bellevue bounced right back in commanding fashion by taking sets three and four by identical scores 25-17.
In set five, the teams traded blows in a back and forth battle. Up 15-14, Edmonds claimed victory on match point on a service error to end the long battle.
Edmonds is now 3-0 while Bellevue falls to 3-1.
