Although Bellevue College’s men’s basketball team shot the lights out in the first half, host North Idaho was even hotter draining 24 of 37 attempts from the field including 5 of 7 from three-point land as the Cardinals cruised to a 120-75 win over Bellevue at the North Idaho Crossover Tourney. North Idaho led 60-38 after the first half and repeated the effort in the second half outscoring BC 60-37.
North Idaho outrebounded the Bulldogs 40-17 to gain offensive control of the game. Marshall Clark had 7 rebounds to lead Bellevue, but the next best Bulldog had only two boards.
Trevon Richmond and Josiah Pressley were hot from the outside as Richmond drained 4-of-5 while Pressley nailed 3-of-4 from three-point range. Richmond ended up with 25 points while sophomore Tijohn Rodde dumped in 18.
Bellevue is now 1-9 and squares off with South Puget Sound on Sunday December 15 in the final day of the tourney.
