
Bellevue College’s men’s golf team took third place at the Cardinal Classic, a two-day invitational which concluded today. The tourney is annually hosted by Skagit Valley College at Avalon Golf Links in Burlington. The Bulldogs shot a two-round total of 640; 54 strokes behind the tourney champion, University of Fraser Valley of Canada. Individually, Connor Stephens and Scott Rohlinger tied for seventh overall in the individual standings, leading Bellevue with two-day totals of 157. Rohlinger carded rounds of 78 on Sunday followed by a 79 on Monday, and Stephens shot mirror image rounds, going 79-78 over the two days. Zach Dea (85-77) and Chase Fisk (84-80) rounded out Bellevue’s scoring.
The ‘dogs have their final league match next Sunday and Monday, May 5th and 6th, at Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent, hosted by Highline College.
