Men’s Soccer Season Comes to an End

On Wednesday, Nov. 2, the Bulldogs men’s soccer team was in a must-win situation to keep their playoff hopes alive going up against West region rival Highline at Sammamish HS. Bellevue battled the entire game holding the Thunderbirds scoreless for the full 90 minutes of play, however, BC was unable to score a goal and the game wound up in a 0-0 tie ending any chances of earning a playoff berth for the Bulldogs.

The final match of the regular season, on Saturday, Nov. 5, Bellevue hosted number-one ranked, undefeated Peninsula, again at the Sammamish pitch. Though the Bulldogs left it all on the field playing physically and fearlessly in a game consisting of eight yellow cards (five from Bellevue), the match ended in a 4-0 Peninsula victory, and closed out the season for the Bulldogs. Bellevue finished the year with a record of 3-4-6 in the loaded West division and compiled an overall record of 4-4-7.
