On Wednesday, Sept 26, the Bellevue College men’s soccer team hit the home pitch at a quick pace, scoring the first goal of the match against Tacoma Community College in the 7th minute, when Preston Hale scored on an assist from Bryan Forbes. However, the Titans would come back just as quickly, scoring two goals that held down the Bulldogs until right before the end of the first half. Bulldog sophomore Tsutamo Ando’s goal in the 36th minute evened things up, making it a 2-2 tie at half time.
The second half was dominated by Bellevue’s defense, but the ‘Dogs finally wore down, allowing a Titans’ goal in the 84th minute, and losing the match 2-3.
A road trip to play Wenatchee Valley College scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29, was cancelled due to severely smoky conditions in the valley, and will be rescheduled. In the meantime, Bellevue takes to the road on Wednesday, Oct. 3, to play Highline CC at 4:15 p.m.
