Bulldogs Sweep Skagit… Again

For the second time in as many days the BCC Softball team picked up a pair of victories courtesy of Skagit Valley College.

After having easily defeated the Cardinals in Mt. Vernon on April 27, the Bulldogs found themselves pitted against and inspired SVC team on April 29 at home. Jessica Lindquist pitched an inspired game for Skagit, allowing just two runs on two hits. Fortunately for Bellevue, freshman Michelle Ruby was a hair better on the mound, throwing a complete game two-hit shutout to pickup the win 2-0. Erica Addison made the most of her one hit on the day, belting a homerun for the Bulldogs.

The second game of the twin bill was all Bulldogs, as BCC racked up 12 runs on 10 hits to take home a 12-4 victory. Addison homered again, her fourth in four games, and Christine Miller-Long picked up the win on the mound. Ruby and fellow freshman Lauren Smoot also went deep for Bellevue.
