The Bellevue College volleyball team hosted Shoreline Community College at home on Friday, Sept. 24 and fell three games to none. Outside Hitter Lisa Schouten of the Bulldogs recorded nine kills while Setter Veronica Wetzel contributed 19 assists overall. Defensively, Gabby Garrido had the most digs for the Bulldogs with seven. For Shoreline, Lisa Day stood out with a match high 23 kills as Christine Jenson made 41 assists throughout the match. Natalie Kaltbrunner chipped in on defense with 12 digs; a team high. The Bulldogs lost by a score of 25-29, 25-9, and 25-21 in three games. Bellevue College will be on the road for their next two matches at Edmonds Community College on Wednesday, Sept. 29 and at Olympic College on Friday, Oct. 1 in Bremerton. Both matches will start at 7PM.
