Bellevue Bulldogs volleyball defeated the Everett Trojans in three in the first Northern Region match-up Wednesday, Sept. 19, by scores of 25-13, 25-10 and 25-18. The Bulldogs were strong from the serving line led by Libero Madison Agnew with four aces, and defensive specialist Macie Cross providing three, along with outside hitter Kylai Cooley with two. Cooley led the Bulldog offense in the match with 13 kills, followed by outside hitter Laura Friar with 10 and middle blocker Darian Foley with seven. Several Bulldogs contributed with blocks, including Foley, Emina Dodic and Krista Groves. The Bulldog defense was led by Agnew with 12 digs, followed by Friar with 10. Groves had 31 assists in the match.
The Bulldogs are back in action Friday night, Sept. 21, traveling to play the Edmonds Tritons at 7:00 p.m. at Edmonds Community College.
