BC Volleyball North Region Co-Champions, Head for NWAACC Tournament

The Bellevue College Bulldogs volleyball team defeated the Shoreline Dolphins on Tuesday, Nov. 6, in their last regular season game, taking the match in three: 25-23, 25-19 and 29-27. The Bulldog offense was led by outside hitters Laura Friar and Kylai Cooley with 17 and 15, respectively. Middle blocker Darian Foley led the Bulldog front row with 2.5 blocks in the match. Libero Madison Agnew led the team with 27 digs, followed by Friar with 16, and setter Krista Groves with 11. Groves had 36 assists in the match.

The Bulldogs completed a highly successful season with an 11-1 league record (27-9 overall) and are North Region Co-Champions with Olympic College (11-1, 31-9). Bellevue goes to the NWAACC Volleyball Championship Tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 14, as number two seed in the North. The Bulldogs will take on Pierce College (8-4, 21-15), the West Region third place team at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15. The double-elimination tournament is held at Mount Hood CC in Gresham, OR.
