The Bellevue College men’s and women’s golf teams traveled to the Tri-Cities for the CBC Invitational October 23-24. The women’s team, led by sophomore Katya Case, captured their third straight tournament win to close out the fall season. The women found themselves 16 strokes out of first place at the end of the first round, but strong play in the second round at the difficult Canyon Lakes Golf Club allowed the Bulldogs to capture the team title by one shot over North Idaho College. Case finished with a two-day total 159, taking second place one shot out of first in individual play. Freshman Corey Rois took 7th with 177. Other BC women’s scores: Tiffany Brunjes, 8th at 179; Alayna Herring tied for 9th; and Kayce Ogishima tied at 14th with 187.
